Privacy Notice for the Form

Upcoop Portugal, which is responsible for processing personal data for the purpose of responding to the submitted request, processes the following categories of personal data necessary for this activity:

• Identification Information – They include information that directly identifies the user (first name, last name)
• Contact Information – They include information that allows you to contact the user (email address, phone number)
• Company Information – They include information that allows the company to be identified and classified (company name, number of employees)
• Other categories of non-sensitive personal data – This includes information that the user may voluntarily enter in the message field.

Upcoop Portugal does not request or process special categories of personal data (sensitive data) in connection with this form.

The personal data collected through this form is processed for the following purposes:

• Response to the request submitted by the user, based on the performance of precontractual steps or the implementation of measures requested by the data subject;
• Management and follow-up of requests for contact or clarification, based on Upcoop Portugal’s legitimate interest in ensuring effective communication with users;
• Sending marketing communications regarding services, initiatives, or events promoted by Upcoop Portugal, based on the consent previously provided by the data subject.

How long do we retain your data?

Personal data will be retained only for as long as necessary for the purposes for which it is processed and for as long as retention periods arising from pre-contractual, contractual, or legal obligations, or from the legitimate interests of the data controllers, must be observed; thereafter, it will be deleted.

What are the rights of data subjects?

The data subject has the following rights with regard to the protection of personal data: the right of access, the right to rectification, the right to erasure, the right to restriction of processing, the right to data portability, the right to object, the right not to be subject to automated decision-making, and the right to withdraw consent at any time, without compromising the lawfulness of processing carried out on the basis of previously given consent.

How do we protect your data?

Upcoop Portugal will ensure data security by protecting the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of personal data. To ensure data security, it has implemented technical and organizational measures to prevent unauthorized use or access, modification, unlawful or accidental destruction, and accidental loss.

Changes to the Privacy Notice

Upcoop Portugal may amend this notice from time to time to reflect changes in legislation or changes to the site itself and its contents.
